Coaching winner boosts sales 165% TRAVEL DAILY | Thursday 04 April 2006

JETSET Belmont & Midland in Western Australia has broken its all time monthly sales record after winning the $10,000 business coaching prize from TA Fastrack promoted in TD last Oct. The firm has been receiving regular business coaching sessions with master coach Adrian Caruso, and during Mar the Belmont agency made more than $69,000 in net commissions while Jetset Midland increased sales by 142% during the same period.

In Apr Belmont's sales were up 164% on the same period last year. Agency owner Ronnie Malthouse said the result was incredible considering the agency employs just three consultants and she herself was overseas.

"It just shows that someone can own an extremely profitable agency and take a whole month off holiday," Caruso said. Ronnie said an Action Plan created through the coaching was a key factor in the agency's success, giving clear goals of exactly where it's going every week, every month and for the next five years.

"It has allowed us to focus on the ten key profit areas of our business, and then Adrian makes sure we do what neerds to be done every week with his coaching," she said. Other contributors included a new salary and incentive package for staff, more targeted marketing and monthly staff development plans. "Having Adrian there as our Business Coach every week has made an incredible difference to my business and lifestyle," Malthouse said.
