Imagine spending your time (for which you'll be paid for) with clients wanting to tour South America or Africa instead of having you find the cheapest deal for the Gold Coast or Cairns. Or how about clients who are quite happy to buy first or business class instead of asking you to spend hours searching for a lower airfare (and they won't pay for your time to do it...at least not willingly)?

 

There are a lot of clients looking for this kind of agent right now. The problem is, most travel agents aren't looking for them. They're more concerned with saving that student $10 on their next trip home or finding a lower priced motel.

Luxury travelers place a greater value on time than money. They will happily pay you to tailor a perfect travel experience for them using your expertise and resources. Sure – they can go on the Internet like anyone else and look for themselves. In fact, statistically, the world's wealthy are more likely to be on the Internet than the average citizen. The trouble is, that takes time – a lot of time.

The number of wealthy households is increasing
Did you know that in Australia there are millions of affluent households which control a large percentage of the nation's discretionary income. And, that one-fourth of married women now earn more than their husbands do - and love to indulge and renew themselves in spa experiences as well as brand themselves with a new look? Or that million's of Australians have the desire --- and means to --- trade up from mass to premium travel products?

 

BUT...only a limited number of travel companies cater for the luxury travel market, which raises the question as to why you are not?
It is a proven fact that it's a smart business decision to target and cater to the luxury travel market because the demographics highlight that the market is hungry for luxury and prestige products. It is also a matter of SURVIVAL.
